That did not seem to work. I just added a barcode for backspace for the

I'm trying to customize a customization that I currently have set up in

Qty Remaining and Qty Completed. What I want to do seems very simple,
but it won't save.



I want to be able to take out the 0 by the Assembly and the Operation.
There is a 0 in both of these fields. When I go into take out the 0
through customization and save it just puts the 0 back in. I'm sure this
is a simple fix. If anyone has any suggestions let me know what I'm
missing.

I have no methods in place for removing the zero except for clicking
backspace. You are correct on what fields I want to work on. I'm trying
to make it so they can just scan a barcode and it will enter the
information that is on the barcode without the extra 0 in it.

I encountered this very same issue early on in our implementation. I
suspected that was what you were chasing after. I believe it comes from
some logic contained within the field type (being a combo box) and that
it is trying to predict what you are typing and you get a bonus
character. Congrats! That being said, I believe I created my own
custom text field and used that in place of the combo boxes, and assign
them the proper views and fields. That worked well for me anyhow as we
strictly use bar coding and discourage the use of any combo box choices
(moot point being that they're no longer available). Perhaps this
solution would work for you as well.

That did not seem to work. I just added a barcode for backspace for the
time being, but I'll have to get some solution eventually.
