I’ve created my schedule, generated my tags, printed my tags, but I can’t start the sequence. Any ideas?
Can you confirm that the Cycle Status is “Tags Generated” ?
I’m looking at my notes and the next step after a Cycle Status of “Tags Generated” would be Actions>Start Count Sequence
I can post the exact steps that we use for Cycle Counting if that’s helpful.
It shows status Tags Generated but my Start Count Sequence is grayed out.
How many tags were created? Is it possible that there are no tags (meaning no parts were selected)?
It’s telling me 13 tags generated… I’ve tried running a schedule for our B parts as well and it’s not allowing me to pull the B parts in and it shows we have 287 of those…
Hi @CTIShip20, were you able to figure out why “Start Count Sequence” was grayed out? I’m having this issue as well. I have a PDF of the printed tags.
We had to delete our Cycle Counts and start again… The Physical Inventory box was checked… We had to uncheck the box and reset up our count sequences…
My Physical Inventory box was unchecked. Tried deleting and starting over and “Start Count Sequence” is still greyed out. It seems like that isn’t the issue.
Are there parts selected?
Yes, and tags generated.
Are you outside of the period you set up?
Nope. Unless you can’t have a cycle on day 1 of the period.
You can, how many cycles do you have in your period?
142 cycles.
Does each cycle have it’s own date?
I have never tried to start a future cycle, is there something that doesn’t let you?
Yes.
One that’s curious to me is the months that are populated in the Cycle Count Part Selection from Cycle Count Part/PCID Selection Update. I think the 11 is coming from the Period Definition but this number is auto generated.
So what is your cycle schedule jgreg?
can you show me your setup for your period?
because you can’t start a cycle count if it is outside of your dates and I see that 6/6 is in the future.
Here’s the period setup.
The schedule is in my previous reply. I figured the next cycle to assign parts is 6/6 because I’ve already assigned parts to 6/2 & 6/3.
Can you try to print the count sheets or count tags.
