Data Collection and Labor Entry

Jasper,

I have a simple Crystal report that my department heads run each morning
when the com in that looks for any clock in dates that do not equal the
current date.

The labor activity is tied to the clock IN date--not the clock OUT date.
So, if the the employee didn't clock out the previous day, all yesterday
AND today's labor data will be found under yesterday's date.

Since we don't use Vantage payroll, there is no urgency to clock out so
I had one employee who hadn't bothered to clock out in 3 months.
When he finally clocked out, all the labor data was available under the
clock IN date.

We are testing the data collection module and have an issue with
something. I have a user that clocked in for the day, worked on a job,
entered the quantity they ran on that job and clocked out for the day.

When I go the the job tracker, it shows the activity on that job for
that day.

The problem is, when I go to labor entry, I see an entry for that person
for that day but there is no detail on the job. There is no detail line
entry at all.

Why is that?

Our production supervisors scan the "Who is Here" tab in ShopTracker awhile after the end of a shift. It shows shift number so it is pretty easy to scan and see if anyone on that shift is still clocked in.
