If you ever want to complain about Epicor Ideas and why they didn’t implement your suggestion from 3 months ago, MS has you beat. 5 year-old idea just to add some metadata tags to Flows, and a year since an update was coming “soon.”

Some here suggested “Solutions” in Power Automate when I had a different issue, and that seems to be the advice with this, too. So I will look into that.

But still, come on, MS. I have hundreds of Flows now in my company. And the search only works if the results are pre-loaded. (Sounds like some Kinetic grids…)

Ah, and we (I) don’t have Dataverse currently. So there goes that for now.

EDIT: Seems like this is a lie after all; I just made a solution. TBD…

Well, I guess we have Dataverse? It seems to add the Flows to Dataverse once you add it to a Solution. :man_shrugging:

I never meant this to be an actually useful post about Power Automate, but it’s kind of become that.

So, about these “Solutions.”

  1. It’s, you know, fine. It’s more setup than I planned for, but of course it is more than I needed - all I wanted was some folders.
  2. You can put Apps and Flows in a solution together, which makes sense
  3. I can add Flows that others own (as long as I am a co-owner)
  4. I cannot add Apps that I am not the Owner of
    a. I’m not certain exactly what to do at this point with this.
  5. The “publlisher” thing was intimidating, but the docs tell you to just make your own, often one per project, that kind of thing. It’s just how fussy you want to get.
  6. And yes, don’t add 50 at once. About 10 max.
