Position Summary
The Business Systems Administrator is key component of the team responsible for the effective operations of the Firm's core business systems; Epicor Financials, E4SE, Epicor Portal, Concur and Records Management System (RMS). This role depends on strong working relationships with an array of internal customers and external partners to ensure that the business systems are meeting the needs of the Firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Join the business systems team to provide proactive service and support to the global Firm.
· Develop deep expertise in and perform system administration of the full array of current and future business systems that support the Firm; including Epicor Financials, E4SE, Epicor Portal, Concur and Records Management System (RMS).
· Operational execution and ownership of data exchanges with external systems;
· Gathering and analyzing user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis, and developing prototypes. Assist in the translation of business requirements to technical solutions leveraging current and future business systems.
· Support and participate in the Business System Change Control process?.
· Contribute as a Tier 2 support provider afterhours should escalation to application expertise be required to maintain service levels.
· Train employees on the appropriate use of software applications and utilities.
· Serve as a technical liaison and point of contact for external partners providing technical services to the Firm.
· Design of custom solutions with development resources, as appropriate.
· Active participation in project initiatives that involve technical systems.
· Documentation of technical tools and processes that support the business system ecosystem.
· Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
· Experience partnering with Accounting and Finance professionals to achieve business outcomes.
· Strong knowledge and system administration experience with several of the following technologies/products: Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008, Microsoft ASP/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Server 2008, Microsoft SharePoint and Crystal Reports.
