Is there any inventory already in the system for the new part?  I believe (if it works like Lot Tracking) it has to be at zero to change.

I just created a new part and that checkbox is not selectable.  How do I enable it?

Miiguel,

This pertains only to lot tracked parts that are received to inventory. If checked, then at the time of receiving the system will require that one or more attachments with a reference to a DocType having Receipt = yes be entered.Requires DocManagement license.
