This prompt/query parameter would have to be in the dashboard as a query
tracker and not in the BAQ. You can then use this has an advanced
search lookup
Or in 803 create a quick search off the BAQ itself.

Subject: [Vantage] Easy BAQ question
I am new to V8 and hoping a veteran can answer a quick one.
I have created a few simple BAQ's but don't see how I can prompt the
user for search/filter criteria at run time - I only see a "constant"
field in the phrase builder. I have to believe this is possible but I
am missing it.
I need to create a simple cross-reference lookup for our part number
and the customer part number accessible for a users dashboard - user
enters the customer part number and the query displays our part
number. The cross-reference is in the CUSTXPRT table.
Thanks in advance...
