Client. Installed it again, now it works

Is there any way to push this out to everyone at once or do we have to download it on everyone’s client? Just figured out today that to use attachments while in the smart client you still need the edge agent…

You can run installation in unattended mode without UI.

Olga, can we meet on this for a moment? Or do you have a KB?

It was somewhere here on the forum, but here I have an example:

EdgeAgent-Kinetic-windows-x64-installer.exe --allowedURL https://appserver1 --allowedURL2 https://appserver2 --mode "unattended" --installMode "localInstall"

Hello @josecgomez Thank you for the detailed help I was Able to setup the Edge Agent ButI am having another question how do we select a tray OR how do we tell the Print to go to for Eg.Tray 2…

FYI I tried

  1. Setting printer preference to Tray 2
  2. In Printer Maintenance there were option (Upper,Middle Lower) none of them worked.
  3. Setting Tray 2 s default for the printer.

Thanks

Is there away to run this as a service or be able to install this so it is not stuck in the Epicor Client folder. Issues during upgrades when we move to new patch levels or things like that.

if by “this” you mean the Edge Agent for Kinetic browser UI, then no, you cannot install it as a service. User must see the UI in their session. For example, when they open attachment and PDF viewer is shown.
