care how we interact with our systems at our end as long as they don't have
to manually deal with us - so we just read the email and type whatever is
needed into Vantage.

what to do next. We are using Vantage 5.1 and just have no idea where to
begin with this stuff. Are there things I need to request from the
customer? Translators to purchase? Other considerations?

But yes actually. To answer your first question, before going to DataTrans
for outsourcing the transaction processing, I used Delta for the data
translation map development and Vista standard for the mailbox setup and
exchange.
