I suggest you talk to Steve Haber at Enabletrading
(
http://www.enabletrading.com/). This use to be the company EB2B that
was preferred(?) by Epicor. We use a simple web based version which is
rip and read (no Vantage integration). We also have only one trading
partner. We have been using them for 3 years and they are very
reasonable and helpful. Steve is a great guy and can help you out.

I use EDI every morning but do not use the Vantage package, instead I
use a software package called Trusted Link for Windows which is by
Inovis Inc. They are also the VAN that I use so it is easy. It is all
done via the internet somehow, not totally sure but we used to do the
dial up thing also and a lot of my customers were upgrading so I had to
also. If you would like a number for Inovis let me know.

Subject: [Vantage] [OT] EDI Software & support
We are still using an old DOS based EDI program - STX to be exact, and
send
and receive via dialup. The VAN that we use will be discontinuing the
dialup service at the end of this year. Our use is small - at this
point a
couple of times a week for only one customer, but that may increase a
bit
shortly.
My question is what others are using for EDI? I know there is an EDI
module
for Vantage, but are there any other packages out there that work well,
any
other options? I am the farthest thing in the world from being an EDI
guru,
so the easier the better.
TIA,
Marilyn Fairchild
