Employee Links

Has anyone successfully automated the Create/Remove Employee Links? I have a couple of reports that run overnight that I would like those to be ran before and after the report.

i dont quite understand this… can you give more details? what employee links, what programs, what reports?

I beleive unless you have the payroll module you may not have those options. All of the Payroll table are linked by a field called EmpLink and the field is blank until you run “Create Employee Links”. This makes so if you have access to any SQL tools you will not be able to link any of the other table that have check or rate data in them.

You can link employees to users in the UI. You don’t have to do that in SQL.

I want to automate linking them before one of my overnight reports run.

I would DMT any missing links and then as part of your user/employee setup require that an employee be on the record.
