Engineering Workbench Bug?

Hey there Vic,

Bit of a late response but a Crystal count of the partnumbers shows me I have over 20K parts and revs in this table. Has our issue been resolved yet, or should I o ahead add my name to it?

Vantage 8.03.408B SQL

For those of you who know much about the Engineering Workbench, I have a
question: We're having some performance issues while opening some ECO
Groups. I started digging around and noticed that we have a lot of
"clutter" in the ECO tables.

When a user in the Engineering Workbench APPROVES and CHECKS IN a part,
the record in ECORev is not deleted. Once you check in and approve a
part it is no longer visible in the Engineering Workbench... that's fine
as it *should* work like that. But the record in the ECORev table (and
the other ECO tables) is NOT deleted. So we have 17K+ records in the
ECORev table that are CHECKED IN and APRROVED and none of these records
can be viewed from the Engineering Workbench GUI. Why are these records
still there?

Can anyone confirm that this is occurring for you, too? I have Epicor
Tech Support on this and they seem to believe it's a bug, but they're
still working the ticket up the chain.

We even now have unrelated data. You can delete an ECO Group if it
doesn't have any parts checked out. So in the past we've deleted
ECOGroups but the ECORev related records for the ECO Group are still
present in the table.

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.
