They also always ask for the mfgsys.ver on the server and not the client.
Good luck, we are in the same boat but have not run into any client issues when running Win 7, Win 8 or Win 10.

I doubt that they are going to come out and say "We Support Windows 10" since I don't think they are actively developing the 9x line. But if it works fine (and it does), I don't foresee Support giving you much trouble over that. But I may be wrong. I am sure they have tested it internally because I know a few Epicor people that run 8.03 on Win 10 and SQL 2014. Have you tried calling support and asking them yet?

We bought all of PC’s/Laptops with OEM Windows 7 Pro and can get the upgrade free, but only until July.
We stand to lose a lot of money if Epicor doesn’t support this configuration.
I already have one laptop running Epicor 9.05.702A under Windows 10 Pro and it actually runs much faster than an identical laptop running it on Windows 7 Pro.
We are running out of time.
