Epicor 9.05: Posting Indirect Labor to the General Ledger?

Hi,

We can try that again - problem being that we have multiple indirect labor accounts for each department, so I think it's why it didn't work the first time. We were trying to let Epicor build the division and department segments of the account.

Thanks for the suggestion - it may be something to test!

We are implementing Epicor 9.05 and we are not using the payroll module.

We post indirect manufacturing labor directly to the general ledger and were able to get the labor cost to the correct department segment.

The problem is that Epicor is trying to create a payroll liability account number for that department - we want all payroll liability in a single account. (Our fallback is to create multiple payroll liability accounts and do a journal entry at month-end).

Any suggestions how to map to a single payroll liability account and multiple expense accounts?

Thank you -

Susan

On the GL Control for each department can you specify your single account in each of the departments?  So that they don’t inherit the default?  Basically forcing the issue.
