Do you know if there is a new conversion tool with the 9.05.700x or does it have a built in ability to allow the conversion from 8.03.409c? I'm trying the data upgrade utility now. I had to sign a paper from Epicor that I had been offered and refused their conversion services before they sent it to me. I can change my mind later on and purchase their conversion services if I choose to. The guide with the utility is missing quite a bit, although some of that may be due to the variety of ways people can set up for the conversion, anywhere from 1 to 3 servers, etc. So far I've found solutions to the errors I've received by searching this group. I'm not sure how much help I'd get from support because I'm using the utility without purchasing their services. Since we have no timeline for Epicor 9, I decided to try the utility before going the other route. I'm only about halfway thru the conversion now. I'm encouraged by your news of another option with 9.05.700x!
