Thanks Rob,
When I get done playing with this converted db in E9, I'll contact Brad before I run another conversion. I discovered how wonderful the destructions were pretty quickly. I think I found the correct sequence between lots of time searching the group and some trial and error. Obviously I missed something somewhere. I didn't know if anyone at Epicor could help or if they've given up on the utility. I'd be willing to try again if it would save me some conversion time!

We have a 44gb database and im estimating the process will be between that 24 and 36 hour time frame which is ok since we can cram it into a weekend based on that time.

The conversion also seems sensitive to nonstandard file paths as well, use defaults in all instances.

Then I received a "cv/cvgl0013.p was not found" error that I couldn't get past. I logged a call with support. After waiting a couple of weeks and getting a couple of suggestions that didn't work, I gave up, installed 9.04 and took the long route. From what I read on on the user group, I don't know how much conversion time the tool saves.

Part of that process is running two schema changes that takes you from 8.03 to 9.04, then from 9.04 to 9.05
