We are having issues with costs coming through whenever we have a DMR within a job/batch.
EPICOR will move the costs with the DMR but if we sell further items from within the batch the system recognises the cost of the products less the cost already transferred into DMR.
For example, if we have a bath of 6 and 1 goes into DMR and is subsequently scrapped off the cost of the single unit goes out of Material and into DMR and then gets written off as scrapped. This leaves the cost of 5 on the batch. If we then go on to sell these 5, EPICOR will recognise 5 have been sold but only transfers the cost of 4. When the job is then complete the remining cost then comes out as a variance. This happens every single time a batch has an item/items sent to DMR, regardless of whether they are scrapped or still waiting for review. We raised this with EPICOR 6 months ago but still haven’t been able find out why this is happening. Has anyone else come across this?
