A couple minor suggestions, mostly from struggling with printing labels
an earlier version of Vantage:
Check printer driver & settings, particularly paper size, margins,
offset, label gap, etc. This should match exactly the page size of the
crystal report. I've had to set up a second Windows printer (pointing
the same physical printer) just to handle different label stock. Other
people on this list have mentioned using the developer version of
printer drivers for more control.
In the Crystal report designer, you can "optimize" a report for a
certain printer (under page setup). Having this set for the wrong
printer, even an almost identical printer, has caused me problems. (But
I don't really understand what this option is doing).
Brian.

Subject: [Vantage] Epicor printing issues
Hi Group
I am having some printing issues using my Epson FX 880 dot matrix
printer and I
hope someone will help because Epicor tech support seems lost.
I have created a BAQ design crystal report form in 2008 and tested it
from
crystal and it worked perfect, printing orientation, font size etc Now
when I
generates this from within Epicor 9.05.602a it looks great in crystal
viewer but
when it prints either the fonts are compressed, if it should print
landscape it
prints portrait.
Maybe its the drivers but what drivers does Epicor support for dot
matrix
printers and specific for Epson?
I look forward to your help.
Paul
