Epicor REST API Rate Limiting?

Are there any rate limiting settings by default for the REST API on the app server?

I’m sure more knowledgeable folks will correct me but there is another license type besides Full Office and MES and that’s a Web Services license. At one time, maybe still, if you ran out of Web Service Licenses, it would double the time to respond. And then double again. Then again. Etc.

I imagine the idea is, you wouldn’t want people buying a single Web Service License and eat all of the full license revenue. Which I completely understand. Other cloud companies are re-evaluating the “per seat” license model. It’s not going away but there might be other options like charging for blocks of transactions per month. Azure has both per user/per month as well as per 10,000 transactions/per quality level/month. So I expect some creative thoughts from Epicor as well.

I know nothing about this FYI but I would venture that this is more of an IIS setting than an application setting. If you have a reverse web proxy to access the api that’s where I’d start looking
