Our division in Denmark has informed me that we need to be able to comply with the SAFT electronic reporting requirements that start at the beginning of the year. We got a ruling from Epicor that Epicor is classified as a ‘Special Accounting Program’ (whatever the hell that means), so I do not think they are required to provide that functionality. Has anyone started on this, or know a consultant that has developed this for Epicor yet? We have some feelers out to Epicor Europe, but no answer from them yet either.
We do have the Norway SAFT EI module, but from what I read, the Denmark requirements are much more intrusive, and they want a lot more information, even delving into inventory, so it is not just financial information apparently.
