That’s what I was implying. We only see a small number of customers posting here about it. So it doesn’t look like as big of deal. We know it’s a much bigger issue.
A good portion of those lurkers are Epicor support looking for answers…
We are still having issues today. Same slowness, refresh glitches, random 'unexpected internal error.." as yesterday. They say resolved last night but not seeing it here. No RO DB for us.
Do you have a ticket open? If so, escalate it. If you don’t get one put in.
Ticket in but not long enough for the escalate option. (never cared for that ‘feature’) Did get picked up pretty quickly though.
If you know your CAM you can ask them to pull that lever.

When SaaS fails over the SQL db, all replication stops until that process is completed. If they then fall back to OG server, replication paused again while that completes. Replication will always take a back seat to high availability.
Understood…the 7/31 outage was one of those double-whammys (Live system inoperable, read-only was taken offline during triage).

Does anyone have any intel on RCA on this stuff and if there is an end in sight? I assume these issues are from the linux migration? We only had issues about once a month before then but now its a few times a week easily.
I don’t think Linux is the problem. It’s usually issues with their shared SQL resources. They don’t have good resource management.

It’s not optimism more like desperation. My users need to be able to work without standing around waiting on the system 30% of the day.
Agreed. Some days are fine, no issues at all…and some days it literally takes 5 minutes to open a menu option (let alone transact business). Kills the business, kills user interest in the system itself.
This would be the worst part. Once you loose user buy in you’re fighting an uphill battle.
