ERP Analyst
Rapidly growing Irvine based Aerospace/Defense subcontractor is seeking a full time ERP Analyst to assist operations with Production Control, Scheduling, and Expediting.
Cover the planning, scheduling, releasing, and tracking of workflow from the receipt of order through the manufacturing department. Must have knowledge of Epicor Vantage ERP system and able to configure system settings and options; plan and execute procedures, manage integration and acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Perform periodic business process reviews of all functional areas to ensure best practices are implemented. Assist personnel accordingly. Develop and maintain written training procedures for each functional area. Develop and maintain system to measure performance on all functional areas. Ensure company has fully system trained staff; perform other related duties as required or as assigned.
This position will be the focal point in creating and managing a production schedule, and determining resource and personnel requirements. Create, track, and report on the current production status of released jobs. Will function as a liaison between engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and shipping/receiving departments. The focal point in establishing and maintaining a production schedule, using the Epicor Vantage ERP system. Track and manage daily production workload, provide feedback to department managers, and provide regular reporting on manufacturing status. Coordinate with engineers and production to actively manage the production schedule. Provide continual improvement of the planning and reporting processes. Research order demands and supply discrepancies and resolve, coordinating with various departments. Release jobs to the various departments, coordinating the flow of work between departments by following a production schedule. Reproduce drawings and assemble drawing packets complete with Job (traveler), completion dates, and instructions. Schedule production according to customer requirements while maintaining machine utilization standards and on-time delivery standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education in Business Administration or Operations Management, with 5+ years' experience in planning/scheduling. Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough. A versatile, self-starter with a positive attitude, who is cautiously assertive. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Must have knowledge of Epicor Vantage system or other MRP/ERP systems.
Experience working within an ISO9001 quality standard plans a plus.
