On Friday, it’s EpiUsers Frideas Day! Have you been to the Epicor Ideas Portal recently? If so, are there some ideas you want to encourage other users to vote for? Maybe want to add comments to an existing idea?

Still can’t believe we’re doing QR codes via external source or CSharp in Epicor Cloud for SSRS forms, the two options I’m aware of are either import an image from a 3rd party website/vendor or use CSharp to completely encode the internals of how a QR is generated into your form (and the code is massive, not sure you get recovery options in this either)

how many other ERP’s are not capable of inbuilt/natively supported QR Codes in 2024

I know this issue here is related to intentional changes in the backend that are supposed to be coming, but this broke a lot of stuff, and I think there was probably a better way to handle it.

Yes this continues to be a major struggle AND one of the most-requested customizations across the application.

I’d say it is - all communications from the Kinetic server should be customizable, extensible, and support multiple paths as defined by us.

For Quick Ship users, add the ability to modify report datasets like we can in Kinetic RDDs.

Even if you’re not currently a QS user, please consider so the feature may be there when/if you do become one.
