We are getting the following error when trying to get details for this specific part.
I am not understanding it completely because it says: “Looking for revision of Part: EXPERIMENTS-PART” Which is the material for the part and is a part of the rev in Method Tracker. The effective date on the rev is also from 2023 so I am lost.
Check to make sure that the subassembly has a revision created and that it is approved.
Effective dates can be very tricky. The effective date of a sub-part revision needs to be older than the effective date of the parent part revision.
I think this error may be saying your parent part “AAA” (for example) has an effective date of 3/15/2024… so any subassembly included in the manufacture of part “AAA” needs an effective date equal to or older than 3/15/2024.
Another place to look is the Req date (Ship By) of the sales order release if this is make direct. If the req date on the sales order is earlier than the effective date on the revision it can throw this error.
It looks like the Req Date is also in 2024 when the Rev Effective Date would have been in 2023
Would this mean I would need to create a REV for the material used in this part to match the Rev for the parent?

The effective date on the approved revision needs to be on or before 3/15/2024
There are no revision’s for that part.

Check to make sure that the subassembly has a revision created and that it is approved.
Add a revision and approve it with an appropriate effective date and you should move past that error.
