I’m creating some sub-queries in my BAQ and I would like to give each one a descriptive name instead of the “SubQuery1”, “SubQuery2”, etc. I know it’s possible as I have imported BAQs from others that have had descriptively named top-level and/or subqueries. But how do I do this? I am able to edit the name of the sub-query, and I can save, but as soon as I leave the sub-query it reverts back to the non-descript default name.
You just change the name… are you hitting save before you get out of the field?

Brandon beat me to it

I had you all beat but I hit the trashcan by accident.
Liked @Banderson ’s screen shot better anyway.
Thanks for the screenshot, this cleared up the misunderstanding… I was editing the field where the subquery name shows (right after “Active SubQuery:”) without being on the SubQuery Options tab… I guess that location shouldn’t be editable if it’s going to ignore changes.
