What is the best way to delete someone else’s personalization?
When I make a layer change in app studio, I get the message saying someone has a personalization set for this app.
I noticed there’s a new tab in application studio that lists all the personalization, but I haven’t been successful with deleting any of them.
Depends on what version you’re on.
If you’re on 2025.2.x you can purge personalization’s in Application Studio.
If you’re on previous versions, there is a custom dashboard someone posted here that will do it. I thought I had a bookmark saved but I can’t find it. I’ll search and see if I can find it.

You can also submit a ticket with Epicor and they’ll give you a hotfix you can use to purge personalization’s if you’re on version older than 25.2.
We are on Kinetic SaaS, so on 2025.2.7.
I tried deleting it from Application Studio, but it didn’t delete it.
I have the dashboard installed but I get an error when I try to delete it from there.
Oh, so it’s not working in the current version.
I guess you’ll need to get with Epicor support and show them any errors you’re getting.
I tested it in our Pilot environment, and I was able to delete it without any issues. It must be an issue with the current version/hotfix on Production.
I submitted a case to Epicor this morning, which they responded and asked for access to our environment. I decided to try it again before sending the info, and this time it worked. I don’t know what changed, but it’s good to see it working!
