I just discovered that the "Demand" field in PartQty seems to be

If you run the Admin Tools, you'll see 6430 was created for 5.1. So, yeah,
it affects other versions.

Mark W.

I'm not sure - It certainly is in 604 and I have seen various postings that
suggest it happens in other versions - type in 6430 as a search in this
group and you will see a variety of comments about it. I believe it is
related to MRP running as I have worked on 607 where they didn't run MRP and
there was never a problem

Good Day:

I just discovered that the "Demand" field in PartQty seems to be
wrong, as is Part.Tracker

I have come across several Parts that have a demand for a JOB, which
shows in Time-Phase, but does not show in Part.Tracker; nor does it show
in a BAQ listing the PartQty:Demand field.

I did notice that all of them, in the Time-phase screen, had lines
marked "below Safety Stock". There are enough on order to cover all
demand plus SS, but some supply was coming in too late.

Can anyone agree that this it true and does it have anything to do
with SS and some setting to "not use" SS. I think 9.05.700C has a new
check-box for "do not use SS", but I am dealing with 9.05.605 right now.

10/1/12 - Testing 9.05.700C
Sun is on 9.05.605 since 10/2/11 - SQL-Unidata- 64 bit
Live on 9.05.601B since 11/29/10
Sun was previously on M2K (Manage-2000) 7.0 SP 5 (Informix)

Hi Len

You need to run conversion 6430 - Epicor seems to have a problem whereby
Time Phase and Part Tracker go out of sync with one another. We have
resorted to running this every night to keep everything in sync. And before
your ask - no you cannot schedule a conversion program
