I need a Timeoout Utility for Vantage 6.10.533 using Progress Da

The data collection stations never timed out in our environment as long as the data collection window was active, so it will only affect the office login IF they do not have the data collection window pulled up, but you can secure that out in menu security maintenance.

Search your registry for "ClientTimeOut" and see if it's there. "0" means never time out and then you can change it to "15" for 15 minutes, etc.

That would be great, also is there a third party that you know that could write us a program to timeout only one of the clients.

There are some registry entries you can add to the server for "clienttimeout" Maybe someone still has these laying around. If you can't find them I'll get with a guy I know that probably has them.

This only issues is we have two separate clients running. One is for the office people and the other is on the shop floor. I need a utility to just time out the Office client and not effect the shop client. Thanks
It's been my experience that the data collection on 6.1 will not time out as it stays alive by always checking the time from the server. There are some registry entries you can add to the server for "clienttimeout" Maybe someone still has these laying around. If you can't find them I'll get with a guy I know that probably has them.
