In new quote, copied line items from other quotes don't stay wh

Susan,

Are they copying the line to get the mfg details? If so, enter the line
manually then to get the details select get details and select from quote
option. I am not sure but I think that may also grab the quote comments as
well.

I do this all of the time and works well for me.

We start a new quote, select the quote/header, say OK, then add/copy
line items from other quotes (that's "quotes", not "quote") - the line
we copy to does not stay put - the copied line goes where ever it wants
to go, probably holding onto it's original line # from the original
quote. It's driving our sales dept. nuts because the parts are never in
order no matter what they do.

You have two options: One, you can copy a quote or two you start a new
quote and copy lines.

If you start a new quote, you first add the quote/header, once you say
OK, you have a quote number, then you select copy lines and find the
quote you want to copy from, select the lines you want to copy and it
put them in your new quote.

If you copy a quote it will look exactly like the quote you just copied
but with a new quote number.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi,

We are currently running vantage 5.2 and are looking at upgrading to 6.1
soon. At the moment I have got 6.1 installed on a standalone computer which
I am running testing on just to check whether all the reports and features
work ok. On the standalone pc I have 6.1 installed on, whenever I try to run
a custom made crystal report from vantage it throws the msg "Error - 0". The
crystal reports run perfectly ok in the server where 5.2 is installed. Any
one come across this error before???...any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance

In the Vantage.mfg file you are using to launch the application the
bottom 4 lines should be ODBC related. Have you removed the ; from
in front of those?
