Is there a way in Kinetic to add the screen label to the dynamic grid in Inspection Results Data Tracker.
At present, it just puts up the field name which to an end user is no good.

I don’t even see that tracker… can you post a screen shot of what you’re seeing?

I don’t believe anyone has cracked that nut. That is why I built this.

Hi John,

I read through the Inspection Report — Finally yesterday and tried getting it working in Kinetic but it struggled with the InspColumns BAQ and then the Report Style kept throwing errors. I managed to fix the InspColumns issue using a count formula.

We don’t use Epicor for our inspections, so I never really needed to investigate the topic. But dayum, @jkane … nice work!

Thanks for letting me know. I no longer have Enhanced Quality to rebuild this, but it is good to know that there are errors in Kinetic with it.

These were the messages I was seeing…

  1. Parent Columns and Child Columns don’t have type-matching columns.
  2. Cannot insert an explicit value into a timestamp column. Use INSERT with a column list to exclude the timestamp column, or insert a DEFAULT into the timestamp column.
  3. Incorrect syntax near the keyword ‘FOR’. (XML Path) - Fixed this one by recreating the BAQ and count() function to get number of colimns
