Inventory Part Cost Adjustment

Figure the average cost and entered it into both the average cost and the
last cost.

Subject: [Vantage] Inventory Part Cost Adjustment

Fellow Vanti:

We switched to 5.0 (317 presently).

We switched to Average Cost method.

We researched every item's cost history form hard copy records, etc.

I now want to evaluate and adjust each and every item's cost.

QUESTION: When I find an item that is not correct and it has two lots
on the shelf (and is lot tracked), what is the best way to enter these
costs?

Should I manually calculate the average cost per unit (labor, matl,
subcon) and enter these in Cost Adjustment into Last and Average, just
Average, etc.??

Or should I try to manipulate the costs in the Job(s) (that created the
item) to somehow output the correct cost(s) into the actual lots?

Or $%^&#@$ -can the whole %^&*%$ system and go back to legal pads?

As always, all suggestions are big time appreciated.
