It is my understanding that we have a strict internal restriction on this. We area not allowing our customer’s data to be used in a way to train AI.

@timshuwy I must say I am alarmed at this. Can we it in writing that Epicor are not using our data to train your AI models and that will always be the case? Because I can see us moving ERP system if Epicor start using our data to train AI models.

One would hope it’s in writing somewhere in the SaaS terms.
If it turned out they were using our data without consent it would be a pretty big lawsuit waiting to happen. I’m guessing the legal folks at Epicor wouldn’t want that.

Hey there, my team built the core prism platform as well as Prism for App Studio (in preview now for prism customers by the way!)… We have an explicit, in writing policy:
- We do not train on customer data without explicit permission
- We will not use any AI service that trains on your prompts
Reach out to your CAM if you have any questions about our AI usage policies, there’s much more detail than the above. I’ll summarize by saying it is heavily weighted towards your ownership of your data as well as safe, legal, and ethical use of AI.
