Is there any way at all to remove the Try Kinetic banner from all screens permanently?

Hello,

We are about to transition into the cloud and we are staying with the modern look as long as possible and will keep using the client instead of the web access.

I forsee a continuing headache from people who keep clicking the try the kinetic or complaining about having to snooze it all the time since it does come back.

Is there any way at all in Kinetic 2022.2.11 to remove all Kinetic references or permanently snooze all banners?

It seems to be controlled by the table Ice.Menu and the field ‘Arguments’.

If it contains ‘-KineticUI’ it has the banner, otherwise the banner is not there.

Any ideas on how to remove that from each field?

Any help is truly appreciated!!

Don’t you just disable Enble New UI option in Kinetic Application Maintenance?

I may have dabbled a bit with that…

There is some more complete info and the gotchas in there by the other users.

They removed that screen from the newer version of cloud kinetic it seems.

I try and do a search for it and when I type kinetic there are no options.

I am set as security manager and didnt help.

We just went from 2021 to 2022 and it was removed from 2022.2. It was an option in 2021.2.

I went to that thread and created the BPM that diables kinetic and the snooze banners.

Works perfectly!!
