Hopefully this makes sense in what I’m trying to do, but basically I’ve created a job dashboard that displays information about all jobs, what I am trying to display on the dashboard, when a job that still has material to be issued and has a material arrive into stock, indicate to the user Via the dashboard that there is a part ready to be issued.
Currently they have to check individually each job/part to see what’s waiting to be picked.
Ideally I need to know where in Epicor parts that ware waiting to be picked are stored hopefully they are linked to job.
Have you looked at the production planner workbench?
First you need to run a process - “Production Planning Process”
This will select the jobs and pull inventory to determine if you have any shortages.
Then launch the Production Planner Workbench which will show you.
Parts - which are short for some jobs.
below it will show the jobs that are using the part and which jobs are short.
Jobs - status of part availability for jobs
Which jobs have availability for all material
Which jobs have shortages - it will also show the parts where there is shortages.
