I am trying to make a job in job entry that has a demand link of Make to Job. It is asking for a material sequence. Can anyone tell me what that is? When I try to add one of my materials there is says material not valid.
It is the material sequence number on the To job.
If your To job has 5 materials (X, Y, Z, A, B) they will have a sequence number assigned to them (10, 20, 30, 40, 50).
If you are manufacturing Z on the From job, you would put 30 on the To job to create the link of the same part.
Your To job must exist before you can create the demand link.
