Call Vantage Tech support and add your name to the list on fixing this
KNOW FEATURE. The more names we get on the list the sooner it gets fixed. I
called months ago. PS: It's broken in 6.0.

We've been on 5.2 since the first of the year and obviously learning how to
use the new screens/features. The Job Tracker screen is driving me nuts.
Expanding the tree view is not consistent as sometimes all the
sub-assemblies expand and sometimes they don't. And the "Always Expand All"
doesn't seem to work at all (what is it supposed to do?). Whenever I change
the views, I "Save" the current settings, but going back in the job, the
tree expansion is still inconsistent.

Have I just not figured out how to drive this new machine, or is it a bug?

Sounds like a bug, I have the same issue here.
Seems to work when you have operation sequences on all levels.
If you don't have operation sequences on all levels the Always Expand
feature on the tree doesn't work.
I have not officially reported this yet.
