Job Variances & Standard Costing

All of our sites have used standard costing for several years now. I'm not sure I understand your issue.

The bloom is off the rose. We are a new user in the process of
implementing Vantage 6.1 and have just bumped heads with
Vantage's "Conundrum", WIP Material variances that aren't material
variances (we are a standard cost environment with subassemblies). We
are now contemplating removing labor $'s from our costs but that
creates all kinds of other reporting requirements. How have you
standard cost folks been able to successfully cope with this issue?
