Kinetic 2024.1 Release Date?

:person_shrugging: They were separate in 2023.2.

Agreed but there is no release notes yet which is usually out by now. Thought maybe I missed a announced change.

Kinetic 2024.1 – Kinetic Release Notes (zendesk.com)

link you can download the xls/pdf near the bottom.

Thanks, but they should be posted on EpicWeb too. It’s even more frustrating having to jump through hoops in the Help to get the 2024.1 release notes.

Pinging @ecain!!! Is this the new channel for the Release Notes or will they also appear in EpicWeb?

Thank you!!!

I got to the link from EpicWeb. Though it is in a different spot than before.

Hi Mark,

2024.1 was just announced today (you probably received the email). When I searched on 2024.1 in EpicWeb I found the release notes here: https://epicweb.epicor.com/products/epicor-cloud-erp/documentation Let me know if you all still need help on this.

I hope we see you all next week at Insights!

Thanks Elizabeth! Is this the new home? In 2023.2, they were also included in the download section of EpicWeb.

Mark,

Can you provide a screenshot showing where it was located in prior versions in the Download section? So I can notify the responsible personnel.

Thanks,

Elizabeth

If you go here:

https://epicweb.epicor.com/products/kinetic-erp/downloads/on-premises/downloads-kinetic

and click any of the Versions listed, you’ll see it on the right. My screenshot above shows 2023.2.

Thanks!!!

Thanks, I have relayed your inquiry to Epicor Learning. If you do not hear back please ping me again tomorrow morning.

2023.2 = 11.2.400
2023.1 = 11.2.300

If you have the Smart Client you get this from Help > About:

If you’re running from a browser, you this instead:

Are the schema changes no longer available in excel? I need to provide this information to external developers who deal with our integrations. I can’t give them a zendesk link that they won’t be able to access. All I can find on EpicWeb is the What’s new article, no release notes. This thread is really confusing so I can’t tell if this is being rectified or what.

I need this in excel the way it has always been provided in the past:

I don’t see release notes anywhere?

I apologize. I pinged Elizabeth but meant to contact @karihagedorn, who is our Documentation Queen! :crown:

Yes it’s quite annoying not to be able to “see” the version except in Classic UI. :man_shrugging:

Release Notes & Schema changes are in a “new” spot in EpicWeb

I do not see an excel sheet of the schema changes there, do you?

Edit: I stand corrected. Thanks @Mark_Wonsil

There’s a link all the way at the bottom where you will find the Excel download.

But not here. Where you would expect to be able to find them.

Hi Alisa - Looks like Mark was able to help you locate the download file in his comment above, but it sounds like it would also be helpful for us to include this on the Schema page to save you some clicks. Appreciate the feedback!
