Kinetic Quick Search criteria (restore classic ui functionality)

We’re in the process of migrating custom work from E10 to Kinetic - the process is actually going somewhat better than I’d anticipated.

One item we’ve run into has to do with Quick Searches. We have a Parts by ClassID QS, which in E10 had a criteria to choose the ClassID. In E10 the criteria input was a combo listing all of the Classes, you could also type and select from the combo that way.

This is gone in Kinetic apparently? The closest I’ve seen is using a Value List but you have to manually add the values in QS Entry. We have many users who loved that functionality, is there a way to get it back in Kinetic?

I poked around for quite a bit with this and was unable to find a clear solution to your issue.
You may be out of luck for now on this.
Epicor will probably tell you to submit an “idea” on their Ideas portal.
