So a bit of playing around on a demo environment this afternoon.
Attempted to add a new users and set the password to an all too common and familiar one and got this.
Sometimes it’s the small things.
Thanks folks.

I need to find the post about BAQ joins that errored out because of some MFG license shit. At least you are on prem.
I heard about one of our users last week getting this error. I didn’t circle back to see what password he attempted to use. But at least Epicor is cutting out known offenders!
What happens if you are offline, Epicor Classic can still work well offline I wonder if it breaks when it tries to ping troyhunts api.
I assume as long as the IIS Server is online, it’ll be fine
What authentication method are you using?
This is just basic Epicor internal. Nothing fancy.
Goes to show what most people input as passwords I guess, because pretty much 100% of my password resets recently have resulted in a query asking about this exact error message.
It’s quite useful.
