Have you tried something simple like adding queue time to the final
assemble. See what your shift hours are set to for that work center then
multiply it times the number to days you want the assemble to be ready for.
(8 hour shift times 3 day = 24 queue hours). The inverse also works for move
hours.

Subject: [Vantage] Lead Times on Manufactured Items
We are manufacturing sub-assemblies which contain manufactered and
purchased parts. The sub-assemblies need to be completed a number of
days prior to the final assembly of the finished product. Where can
this "lead time" be defined in the system. We are running 6.00.5x
with progress 9.1d. We have already tried using the "lead time"
check box at the part maintenance screen and tested the days of
supply. Neither of these appear to work to accomplish this lead time.
