Local copy of the cloud db

Hello,
our client will move to epicor kinetic cloud soon. i have a question about the local copy of db from cloud.
how fast the local copy can be updated if the could db got changed.

Your customer will have to setup an agreement for x numbers of backups to be taken that you can download per year when they are SaaS hosted, but as far as i am aware they can only do this from Live

yes it is a backup at the point of time it is taken - you only get a refreshed version when you request/pay for it
