Has anyone figured out a way to consolidate multiple shipments done through Manifest on one set of forms?
Often for international customers, we will wait and consolidate multiple sales orders until we can fill a container. Then when shipping through Manifest, currently it prints a set of forms (Cert of Origin, Commercial Invoice, etc.) for each sales order/Pack ID. That will drive our customers crazy if they get 10+ sets of forms for each shipment. Would be great to consolidate it all onto one set of forms.
You can add multiple orders to one packID as long as the ship to is the same. We don’t use manifest, but I would think that if it’s one pack ID it should be one set of docs.
We currently do this by shipping the orders with an LTL-Other carrier and then create a new Misc Shipment in Manifest to consolidate. A bit labor intensive but it works.
We are going to look a little bit more into Master Pack functionality, in the past it didn’t fit our shipping model however maybe with the latest Quick Ship model we can make it work.
