Min max safety mass update with PLT - MTL transactions

Hello,
I am very new to epicor, but tasked with looking at min/max levels for many of our parts. We have 3 sites with each site having a warehouse (we actually only have one physical warehouse, but 3 business units pulling from it). The min/max safety mass update does not work, I believe, because we only have a history of PLT-MTL transactions, where material is being issued to jobs. The manual states that it considers STK-MTL for the calculation.

I am wondering if there is a way to consider the PLT-MTL transactions so the history we already have can be considered. Thanks for any input.

I have not seen any ability to have the program switch to a PLT-MTL transaction however you could create a dashboard to to calculate the daily usage using the PLT-MTL transaction then multiply it by the lead time to get your Minimum. Kinda run it along side the utility and then type in the min, max and safety numbers. Would then be dependent on how many parts you want do update this way.

thank you! That would work, although it would be a lot of parts to manually update. But at least it would give us something to go off of!

I am wondering if there is a way to take a lot of min max alues from a dashboard and auto update the values into epicor, instead of manually putting these in?
