After the 2026.100 upgrade we have started experiencing issues with our MRP. We have always ran Multi-Level Pegging as a part of MRP, and in our live environment MRP run’s in less than 2 hours on average. In our pilot environment, MRP without the Multi-Level Pegging take just under an hour, but the Multi-Level Pegging part has not successfully completed running, it times out or we have to cancel the process because its taking over 10+ hours.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? Or have any advice on getting the Multi Level Pegging to run more efficiently?
We are multi-site and from looking at the logs, Our smaller site is taking about the same amount of time to process but our larger site has gone from taking around 40 minutes to process completely to hours.
You can exclude items without activity and there’s a prompt for number of MRP processes/schedulers…maybe adjusting that might help? I think ours runs Net Change most of the week with Regenerative done once or twice.
We have it set to 3 MRP Processes and 3 Schedulers, I believe this is the max for cloud, but I could be wrong. I’ll look into the exuding items without activity setting.
Running MLP by itself took about 12 minutes on 2026 PILOT, which is about par with 2025 LIVE. We are multi-site, but not a super-high transaction company.
EDIT: Net Change MRP w/MLP took about 14 minutes on 2026 PILOT. Fairly typical for us.
We are 1 company 2 sites. Do not do multi level pegging and do not run finite. We cannot get MRP to run with shop load. We had to remove shop load from MRP. We noticed that after the update the delete shop load process was going through 1 record a minute, with 100K+ records MRP would time out.
