MRP not factoring in MOQ from the Supplier price list

it appears that MRP doesnt factor in the MOQ from the supplier price list. Is this known @timshuwy or do i need to put in an epicor Idea.

I don’t think MRP factors in Supplier Price Lists. It looks at the MOQ settings on the Part > Site record (and probably Urgent Planning).

Is that supplier set as the default supplier on the Part-Site record?

Yes it is the default supplier on the part. but no MOQ on the PartPlant record. Using Supplier price list for MOQ in case we need to buy from a different supplier.

Oh. wait. Minimum Quantity on Supplier Price List is not the same as Minimum Order Qty.

Minimum Quantity is the smallest qty in order to achieve the associated price break. It does not specify the minimum order size.

Looks like AI help was wrong. I’m shocked and dismayed. :unamused_face:

There’s an Idea out there to “try” to get a supplier based MOQ (VendPart) field. This was stemming around using it to prevent PO’s from being entered for less than that MOQ depending on the Supplier chosen on the PO Header… but MRP being able to pick it up would be additional benefit.

Yeah, I wasn’t even thinking of MRP/Suggestions originally, but that would be a nice enhancement.

Yeah getting reduce suggestions when there is a vendor MOQ doesnt make sense.
