We are setting up a new test system with the thought of having a revision with a MOM for the primary manufacturing site and an alternate MOM for a secondary site. When we put sale orders in for both sites and run MRP, it only suggest jobs for the primary site with the revision. Nothing is suggested for the second site with the alternate method. Does anyone have a workaround for getting MRP to use alternate methods?
You need to set the Primary Alternate Method on the Part Site record under Part-Site-Planning.
