Although not quite the same problem...
For our large custom machines, sometimes we get more than one PO from the
customer, therefore multiple SO's for the same job. Sometimes we break up
one PO into multiple jobs. But never both ways at once.
We use Miscellaneous Shipments and invoice based on negotiated milestones on
the PO (not Vantage Milestones). The only thing Vantage doesn't do for us is
recognize revenue based on projected profit and costs to date rather than
invoices. We do that manually for selected large jobs.
