Need to Add New Variable to Depreciation Method Formula

Hi all, we’re on Epicor 10.1.5

We are trying to create the following custom depreciation formula:

(Asset Cost - Posted Accumulated Depreciation) / Remaining Periods

The problem is, ‘Accumulated Depreciation’ is not an available variable when creating a user-defined depreciation method in Depreciation Method Maintenance (by right-clicking in formula box).

‘Previous Years Depreciation’ + ‘Current Year Depreciation’ would also work…

We’ve gotten around this by created a Fixed Value dep method, and manually entering the correct dep amount, but this isn’t ideal.

Any ideas?
