Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone can help on how to retrieve data from the MES into a SSRS report. Example I created an SSRS report for employee efficiency and the report can be access from the MES module. However I would like the report to be exclusive to the user log in at the moment, so if it is a way to send the EmployeeID login at the moment to my report that will give him/her their efficiency results only for that particular user log in at the moment.
If this is a BAQ Report, you can filter by current in the BAQ or by the EmployeeID as an Option Filter in the BAQ Report.
Apparently the Crystal version that we have of this report tights up the current user so the end user doesn’t need to do nothing other than click print.
I would like to mimic this if possible.
Like @Jason_Woods said, if your report is a BAQ Report, you can set a filter in the BAQ that will use the currently logged-in Employee’s ID. No interaction from the user required. You can also use the currently logged-in user ID as well.
On the table criteria, select “Special BAQ constant”:
